One of the biggest music awards took place yesterday (12) and was filled with performances and several awards given out (even Brazil came out on top), so how about finding out all the winners of the award?
The awards season has begun in the United States and the kick-off for them is the VMA (Video Music Awards), which is the award ceremony that honors the best music videos of the year across several categories.
This year's awards ceremony took place on Tuesday (12) and awarded the best clips of the year, including the categories of pop, rock, Latin, afrobeats, collaborative and several others.
During the night we also had several performances from incredible artists such as Anitta, Demi Lovato, Cardi B and Doja Cat. This year's awards ceremony was hosted by rapper Nicki Minaj who, in addition to presenting, also performed her latest release and a new song that will be released in the coming weeks.

2023 VMA Winners
The biggest winner of the night was Taylor Swift, who walked away with 8 statues, which were all the categories she was nominated for. But even Brazil had an award, as Anitta won for the second year in a row in the category “Best Latin Music Video” with her hit Funk Rave.

The best performances of the night
During the night there were several memorable performances, such as Shakira who was honored for her videography and performed a medley of her greatest hits.
Nicki Minaj moved everyone when she sang her latest single, the ballad “Last Time I Saw You”
Doja Cat took the opportunity to perform a medley of her last 3 singles, “Paint the Town Red”, “Attention” and “Demons”.
Our favorite Brazilian, Anitta also did a medley of her latest releases “Used to be”, “Funk Rave” and “Casi Casi” and sang a snippet of a new song that should be released soon.
Demi Lovato is re-releasing her greatest hits in a rock version for the album “Revamp” which will be released on the 15th and took the opportunity to sing “Heart Attack”, “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Cool For The Summer”
Olivia Rodrigo also appeared to sing some songs from her new album GUTS, singing “vampire” and “get him back”.
