What is Shein's Free Trial Program?

O Free Trial — as it's called within the platform — is an official Shein system where a limited number of users are selected each cycle to receive physical products at no cost.
In return, participants need to use the product and submit a detailed review with photos within [the specified timeframe]. 10 days after receiving it.

How it works step by step

Access the Free Trial Center
On the Shein app or website, go to “"Me" → "Free Trial"”. This section lists the products available for application in the current cycle.

Choose up to 3 products per week.
Each product has a description, requirements, and number of available slots. Choose items that match your style and measurements—this increases compatibility with the selection system.

Submit your application and wait.
The status appears as “"reviewing"” in the “My applications” tab. The results are announced on the program's page.

Receive the product at home.
If approved, you will receive confirmation with tracking information. The product will arrive at the registered address. at no additional cost.

Evaluate within 10 days.
After receiving it, you have 10 days To submit your review with photos and description. Reviews marked as “"High quality"” They earn extra SHEIN points.

How to increase your chances of being selected
Shein does not disclose its selection algorithm, but the patterns that consistently improve eligibility are known to regular participants in the program.
Keep your profile complete and up-to-date.
Name, address, profile picture, and measurements must always be up-to-date. Incomplete profiles will have reduced eligibility according to the system.
Write detailed reviews for regular purchases.
Each review of regular purchases contributes to your tester score. Photos, measurements, and comments about texture and quality carry more weight in the system.
Access the platform frequently.
Regular engagement — browsing, favoriting, accessing the app daily — signals to the algorithm that you are an active user and increases your eligibility score.
Choose products that match your profile.
Applying for products in your usual shopping category improves the match between your profile and the product. Avoid categories you've never shopped in before.
Never fail to submit the evaluation on time.

Use original photos in your reviews.
Images taken by you, with natural lighting and showing the product in use, receive greater validation in the system than generic photos.

Does the product need to be returned after testing?

How long does it take to receive the product after it's approved?
The delivery time follows Shein's standard for Brazil — generally between 15 and 30 business days for international shipments via Remessa Conforme.
Can I be selected more than once?

What if I can't submit the assessment on time?
