How about checking out the biggest movie releases in 2023 and keeping an eye on that premiere you've been counting the days for?
We can say that cinema is one of people's favorite things to do and that there is nothing better than counting down to a film that we really want to see, right?
The feeling of watching a great film or even a smaller film that you really like on the giant screen is inexplicable.
And in the first half of the year we have already had several releases that brought crowds to the cinemas and many made big box office hits such as “Super Marios Bros”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3”, “Fast and Furious 10”, “The Little Mermaid” and “Barbie”.
In addition to these blockbusters, we also had several other hits such as “Elements”, “Scream 6”, “Evil Dead: The Ascension” and “John Wick”.
And despite there being a lot of good stuff in the first half of the year, there are still a lot of good films to be released in theaters from August to December and that's what we'll talk about today.

The Mega Shark 2
A sequel to the successful film released in 2018, the film tells the story of an exploratory research team's journey that ends up turning into chaos when they realize that there is an operation behind everything that could be fatal.
They must face mega sharks and environmental looters in order to survive and reach the surface alive.
The film premieres on August 3rd.
Blue Beetle
One of the most anticipated films of the year in Brazil, “Blue Beetle” hits theaters on August 17th and has Bruna Marquezine in the cast.
The film tells the story of teenager Jaymes who, after a mysterious beetle attaches itself to his spine, gains superpowers and takes the form of a blue alien.
Talk to me
One of the most anticipated horror films of the year, “Talk to Me” tells the story of friends who learn to summon spirits using an embalmed hand.
Looking for a distraction on her mother's death anniversary, Mia decides to join in the fun, but goes too far and ends up releasing powerful supernatural forces.
The film – which has been one of the most anticipated in cinemas in 2023 – also premieres on August 17th.
The Nun 2
Everyone already knows that the “Conjuring” universe is a success and now it’s time for another sequel to its successful spin-offs: The Nun.
The film is set in 1956 in France and it all begins when a priest is murdered and Sister Irene realizes that Valak – the demon that haunted her in the past – is back to take revenge for what she did.
The film premieres on September 7th.
The Expendables 4
Another successful sequel that draws crowds to the cinema, “The Expendables 4” will change its focus a little this time.
All the other films focused on Barney, played by Sylvester Stallone, but in this new film, the main character is Lee, played by Jason Statham and Megan Fox.
The film hits theaters on September 21st.
Kraven: The Hunter
The story of the villain from “Spider-Man” will get its own film and will tell the story of Kraven before he became one of Peter Parker’s greatest enemies.
It is worth remembering that he is a new character in cinemas, as he only exists in comics until now.
The film premieres on October 5th.
The Exorcist: The Devotee
For those who are fans of the classic “The Exorcist”, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on this one, which promises to live up to expectations.
The film tells the story of two teenage friends who disappear one day and when they return home they are different and their parents realize that they brought something inside them.
The film brings back one of the original characters from the first film and premieres on October 12th.
My name is Gal
In the film we will delve into the story of one of the most beloved singers in Brazil: Gal Gosta. We will discover her journey from being a cutie to becoming the powerful Gal.

Five Nights at Freddy's – The Neverending Nightmare
