How to get to China's Colorful Mountain?

As mentioned in the text, the colorful mountains of China are located in a province in the north of the country. The best way to get there is by plane from Beijing to Zhangye, city located about 30 km from the province.

To visit the park where the colorful mountains are located, you need to pay a fee of 40 Yuan – around R$$ 34. And for those who want to visit the park, the options available to get around there are walking or using special tour cars. This is the only way for tourists to experience the beauty of the place. 

Another particularity of the park that is home to the colorful mountains of China – and that every tourist who dreams of visiting the attraction needs to know – is its opening hours.

The park has two different opening hours throughout the year. From May to October, the park receives tourists from all over the world from 6 am to 8 pm. From October to April, the opening hours change slightly, from 7 am to 7 pm.

Furthermore, despite being popularly known as the Mountain of 7 Colors, this mountain can have many more colors. This happens because of the different hues that the mountain presents according to the incidence of the Sun – such as the time of day and the position of the Sun in the sky.

Colorful Mountains in Chile

Another South American country that also has colorful mountains among its best-known tourist attractions is Chile.

In addition to the colorful mountains of China, Argentina and Chile, there is another attraction that really catches the attention of tourists. And the best part is that it is located much closer than the first option. I am talking about the Rainbow Mountain of Peru.

Peru's Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca, Seven Colors Mountain, Rainbow Mountain... there is no shortage of names for this attraction.  

The Mountain of Seven Colors is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Peru and, I dare say, one of the most beautiful in all of South America. 

Despite being smaller in scale compared to other tourist attractions, the tourist spot has become an almost obligatory stop for travelers passing through Peru.

With its unbelievable coloration due to the amount of mineral materials in the soil, the destination gained worldwide recognition after a publication in National Geographic choose the attraction as one of the 100 tourist attractions you must visit before you die.

But even though it has become such a popular destination, it is necessary to take some precautions when visiting this tourist spot.

The impressive mountain – approximately 5,200 meters high – is located in the Peruvian Andes. This means that, while it is considered impressive, it is also true that a trip up it is not for everyone! 

For those who are not so familiar with the structure of this tourist spot, the Seven Colors Mountain consists of a 6 km trail with climbs that exceed the 5000 meter mark in height. 

And in addition to having to deal with the fatigue that comes with a walk as long as this, factors such as the cold wind blowing in your face and the thin air are factors that can make life even more difficult for those who want to get to know the place.

In other words: this experience is not recommended for beginners.

Are there colored mountains in Brazil?

We know that the financial situation of the Brazilian people is not the best. And with an increasingly tight budget, it is difficult to close the month with a positive balance.
