The presence of some organisms that have bioluminescence in their structure.

In this case, this phenomenon occurs due to the presence of phytoplankton – a group of many microorganisms.

When they come into contact with oxygen, they emit this “neon light” – which is produced by a protein called “luciferase” – which can be seen at night.
